May 31, 2017 the reason they say up to 30 years, as it's the maximum sentencing set by precedent on the said charges. he'll probs end up with a year or two, or maybe even a fine. The 30 years is just there as more of a scare tactic. Judge's take into consideration a huge array of factors before sentencing, such as whether or not they are repeat offenders/have already established some form of criminal history. TMZ are also r-----ed, there is no way police pulled them over, found illegal ecstasy and an illegal firearm and said "ok just charge him for the weed" state and federal law have f----- it on the head
May 31, 2017 Technically yes but it's up to the judge really. Also depends what state you're in & if you have a previous record. A state like California tends to be more easy going on non-violent drug offenses compared to a state like Texas.
