Bun B rapped out of his mind on here, p---- C was such an incredible performer & visionary. Practically molded the South along with Kast & 36.

p---- reeeeaaaaalllly did not want to do Big Pimpin because NY didn't have enough respect for the south. Took a lot of convincing from Bun and when he finally said yes he purposefully only did 8 bars cuz he wouldn't give a full verse. And he still somehow completely steals the show on that song.

If Drake came up through Rap-A-Lot while p---- was still alive I'd imagine he'd have a lot of reservations then begrudgingly do a song with him after convincing from Bun and J Prince. He'd prob alternate between going on rants about how Drake is too soft and then telling outlets him and Drake are cool and he respects his work lol

p---- was wild. I feel like he'd occupy a Juicy J type position today if he was still here.

This reminded me of that Jay Elect line on Exhibit C when he called out NY for that exact premise, and then for jacking the South’s slang. The cherry on top was how a rapper from New Orleans was doing the New York style of rapping better than anyone from the Big Apple at the time lol.

Even I would say Atlanta has been the Mecca of rap for the past 2 decades.

p----’s beats in particular were way ahead of their time, people are still following his blueprint now. I think if he was still here he’d be a very in-demand producer, even if UGK’s reign on the charts faded
