    Inspiring to see Ukraine not back down. Maybe this is making China hesitant on invading Taiwan? I think we need to pay attention to Canada too.. Justin Trudeau is not much different than Putin to be honest. US looks really weak right now and he could be getting some ideas.

    There was never any hope that Ukraine could prevent Russia from overrunning the entire country if thats what russia decides to do though. The only thing they can do is make the experience as unpleasant as possible for the russians via guerilla warfare. NATO/US made it clear it wouldn't risk direct confrontation but they'd happily supply ukraine for a dragged out insurgency.

    Tbh I think Putin bluffed himself into a corner and has to resort to a show of force to save face before retreating back to just the pro russian separatist regions as if to say "see if we really wanted to we could overrun the whole country easily" but russian casualties show it was definitely a bumpier ride than they hoped for
