    Alright, so for the first day we'll be starting with good ole 1980, the year Ronald Reagan graced the cover of Time as their Man Of The Year and cinematic classics such as Airplane and The Shining hit the big screen.

    As per WPG's suggestion we'll start by voting for our top 5 albums and top 5 singles (the numbers will expand when we get to years with high content output.) Feel free to start submitting entries now!

    Notice: the starting year is now 1984

    Yeah you're right I've been digging and it seems like there doesn't seem to be more than 5 albums until 1984, so we'll start there and I'll leave this one up thru tomorrow too for people that missed it today.

    It's not the 80s as a whole just specifically 1980, but I'm dumb and that doesn't offer enough choice so we're moving on up to 1984.

    I'm going for a comprehensive list of every notable year. Would have stayed starting at 80 but itd be boring having everyone pick the same two. It'll go slow for the next few days but imo it'll be worth it to have a proper list.
