I don't have a problem with rollercoasters, but I kinda get you on the 'being strapped in' thing. Like being in the very back seat of a car that has three rows of seats. I'm 6'3'' so it's already hard for me to fit in those tiny way-back seats, and when you add being strapped in something about it doesn't sit right with me either. It makes me feel trapped and like I couldn't escape if we got in a crash or something.

I've been on rollercoasters and Stone Mountain in Georgia and such, but heights f--- with me. Especially views from over ledges.

Is it cheating to mention death? Mortality is scary, man. I've had super realistic dreams of dying and stuff. Thoughts about how vast and empty the universe is usually take me to that place as well.

I mean it is sort of cheating, since its inevitable. When your time comes, it comes. But like a spider nearby you and you dont want it to..

and Stone Mountain isn't even that high

9/11 was the beginning of it. By the way I am not talking about all Muslims here, there are plenty of moderate Muslims that are fine individuals and they don't represent the ideology that I am concerned with.

Some conversations with American Islamists have really bothered me. A lot of them have infiltrated our country and you don't know about it until you start to speak to them in detail about their beliefs and their ideology.. Some of it is really troubling, I noticed how easily they are triggered by some basic criticism of their faith. I don't plan to go into detail about it on here but I have been attacked by American Islamists for trying to have a civil discussion about Islamism.

One of my colleagues is a Muslim who has recently moved here from Dubai. He prays 6 times a day, doesn't matter where you are he will get on his knees and pray if he has to. He won't accept that there are differing interpretations of Islam, anyone who doesn't do what he does is not a Muslim, he believes apostates, adulteress etc should be killed, but doesn't think it should happen in this country, only Islamic countries. He's a nice guy, but stills holds some ridiculous worrying views, and he would be considered a moderate Muslim back where he's from. If you look at how many Muslims in Turkey resonate with the actions of ISIS etc, it becomes even more worrying. Even if you take away the terrorism, everything boils back down to the Quran, the way they treat women, each other and the way they live their lives.

I worry about the wide spread ideology of people that think like he does. I think it's reasonable to worry about it. I don't know that it's a true phobia or if it's a rational realization of evil, I consider Radical Islam/Political Islam/Islamic Fundamentalism to be a true evil and not an irrational phobia.
