Apr 22, 2020 Day 64 There's an undeniable sound of mid 00's 50 Cent permeating through the title track off London rapper J Hus' debut album. Its not just the breezy instrumental with the slap bass guitar, but also the way Hus just oozes with charisma as he celebrates his newfound fame and fortune, splurging lavishly like its common sense, threatening his foes like its second nature.
Apr 23, 2020 Day 65 Jahmed came outta nowhere. Well he comes from LA but I'd never heard of him before he dropped 2 singles and then a very brief but breathless 13-minute EP in January, February and March of this year respectively. He wears his influences on his sleeve and sounds like a lost TDE member but has more than enough charisma, humor and talent (and an ear for beats) to keep him thoroughly entertaining and interesting. JEEP is the first single from that EP and probably the best entry into his music but I would highly recommend checking out the full EP. @Xmipod, @Zeugma I think you might like this one.

Apr 25, 2020 Day 67 Hey sometimes you just gotta breathe in the dust. I don't know much about Spice-1's music but have spent some time with some of his earlier albums. This one always stuck out to me - off his 1991 Let It Be Known EP, where Spice flexes his creativity by telling an almost Shakespearean street tale, but where the whole cast is made up of different drugs and alcohols. Plus that music video is amazing. Definitely willing to check out any other Spice-1 recommendations!

Apr 27, 2020 Day 69 Wiki of Ratking fame recently dropped his second full length album Oofie. Its a pity that Eggs - featuring a beautiful Madlib beat didn't make the cut but I'm glad still glad we got to hear it.
