I can only rap in french ; so I'm not sure that would be relevant on a S80 tape. If anybody's interested for a non-english track (I don't know if there are any european rappers here), I can drop a verse though

Glad to see my people from JCN still f--- with me. I've been working on an album, haven't been able to really be on this forum as much. I'd love to be apart of this mixtape thing though, I'll check in from time to time to see whats going on. I'm more interested in rapping on someone else's production rather than my own tbh ( haven't done that in a while, should be fun ). @Head Bussa much love.

I'd like to address something since it keeps popping up. Me and @Winter have discussed it and we've decided that there aren't to be any outside sources involved on this tape. No beats outside of SXN80 producers and no rappers/vocalists either. This is suppose to be new, unique and original content showcasing SXN80 talent.

As for a concept/theme @Genius, we've talked about that today and decided we just want to try and keep a consistent sound beat wise and go from there. It'd be way too difficult to try anything more than that with so many different people involved here.

We're also trying to come up with a name for this, Winter suggests it be something meaningful related to the boards, like how

, and I agree. So if anyone's got some suggestions I'd love to hear them.

The way we see it is, this is supposed to be a showcase of S80 artists, including producers. If we open it up and let people submit anything, chances are we'll get a bunch of songs over industry beats

Yea maybe, but you could always just say no thanks to songs with industry beats and say we want originals. By doing this you're practically alienating a bunch of S80 artists who don't mesh well with the producers on here. Idk just my opinion. You guys are the ones getting this all together so it's ultimately your choice

So I know I've mentioned that I'm gonna post an intro for this soon (and I still am), but I'm waiting on a few things now before I do. Once I have said things, lookout for a new, more organized thread with the tapes name, album art, and the intro to set the tone, as well as all the rules n' s--- we're putting into place for this with how we want it organized and managed, and the kind of content we want now that me and @Winter have had a chance to work out all the kinks in this. Then the real work on this can begin.
