May 1, 2015 Also, I'm not sure how each person's rating system works, and that's the reason that I dislike ratings. Some people are acting like 8 is a low score, when 10 is the ceiling. Think about this for a second.

May 1, 2015 8 Is great, but when I see clearly worst album getting much higher than any other is just not cool. I'm not talking about anyone's reviews here just purely scores for albums. When I look at a review I enjoy more of the community feedback than the reviewer tbh It would make a cool addition if we could rate albums too that's all. I would think metacritic does it well
May 1, 2015 lol i doubt there would be one left if the site took that turn but he said he just means that user ratings should be visible along side the official rating. idk its not a bad idea. especially for a site who has an extremely large and active forum associated with it
May 1, 2015 but what if the review it self explains why x album was executed better than y album was executed? what right do you have to call it bias if the words them selves are clear, rational, and make good points? arent you being biased by just flat out saying "nope no way x is that good, youre wrong" and not actually defending that opinion?
May 1, 2015 Problem with a user rating score are people sometimes taking it to extremities and handing out outlandish scores...I think it's fine the way things are working, the reviews I've seen here have been stellar.
May 1, 2015 also, since when is disagreeing with a rating a bad thing? No site should have ratings where you agree with every single one lol. what they should have is well written material to support those ratings. which id like to think we have in spades
May 1, 2015 full disclosure: i have agreed with very few section reviews thus far and am in no way affiliated w/ the site. but fullspeed is posting like a moron and needs to be set straight. barter 6 has been pretty roundly praised by a variety of different publications. what you're framing as a fundamental problem with section 80 is really just your taste not lining up with theirs (or the larger rap-listening public, but that's another discussion). reviews are there for a reason. bitching about the scores in a vacuum is something a dog or a small child would do. then don't read reviews :s metacritic isn't a publication. it's an aggregation of reviews. you're not even talking about the same thing.
