you know people have done the album title thing like 10000000000s of times right?

you know that lil wayne is thug's idol, right?

you know its okay to be flamboyant right?

you know that a lot of great artists have been flamboyant before right?

you know an artists outside persona/presence/interviews whatever actually has little to nothing to do with their music right?

you know his naming being "young thug" is ironic right? and you know that it consistently brings out people like you that think his music's creativity is a reflection of his name, right?

you know im not middle class or white right?

you know you havent actually heard the album right? (just checking)

and you know you're an absolute idiot, with the iq of a 5 year old right? (just checking?)

full disclosure: i have agreed with very few section reviews thus far and am in no way affiliated w/ the site. but fullspeed is posting like a moron and needs to be set straight.

barter 6 has been pretty roundly praised by a variety of different publications. what you're framing as a fundamental problem with section 80 is really just your taste not lining up with theirs (or the larger rap-listening public, but that's another discussion).

reviews are there for a reason. bitching about the scores in a vacuum is something a dog or a small child would do.

then don't read reviews :s

metacritic isn't a publication. it's an aggregation of reviews. you're not even talking about the same thing.

also, since when is disagreeing with a rating a bad thing? No site should have ratings where you agree with every single one lol.

what they should have is well written material to support those ratings.

Also, I'm not sure how each person's rating system works, and that's the reason that I dislike ratings. Some people are acting like 8 is a low score, when 10 is the ceiling. Think about this for a second.

why though m8? taylor wrote the badass review, i remember he liked it. <8 isnt bad.

<6 is tbh.

and you gotta be able to cite the actual criticisms/review man, you cant just go off the numbers when talking about biased reviewers (which is kind of an annoying/big accusation). we put a lot of time and effort into this.

like, you like both yela and joey right, and they're both like high 7s. do you think one of their projects is significantly better than the other? i dont, and they have around the same rating.

i remember for another site last year i reviewed oxymoron and gave it like a 7.6, but I LOVED that album

a lot of the times its the readers/users giving into their bias more than us
