Still garbage Only things that I can't defend in any sense are So Far, a------'s beat, and occasional lyrics that make me shake my head

Jan 22, 2016 I don't understand why people say he has nothing to talk about. He is one of the most secretive celebrities around and he's been sitting under the radar. Everyone makes it like he can only talk about his life from his late 20's to early 30's. MMLP2 was supposed to be about himself, now, but IMO fell short because we didn't really learn anything new. He needs beef with someone.

Even my Grand mother is too old for them. Yeah Em was better in 1999 or 2002 but he still writes better lyrics than a Kanye or a Drake. I say lyrics of Stronger than I was are bad because they are bad (Not because they are not complex) And lyrics of Hotline Bling are laughable because (I can't help but cringe at them and stop the song when I start to listen to the lyrics instead of the beat).. The same with best I ever had or God awful I am a GOD by Kanye... I mean how can one can such a weak a--- laughable song while calling himself a god I am a God I am a man of God My life in the hands of God People in 1st standard write that kind of stuff This was my point It's true Drake and Kanye have had good lyrics but on a forum that complains about Em's lyrics I really expect them to be a bit open minded while listening to the stuff of a Future, Drake or Kanye

Jan 22, 2016 While I agree to an extent he's stronger when he has actual content to write about, Evil Twin and Brainless are personal favorites from MMLP2 and they're about nothing. I think they were front runners in the MMLP2 Elimination Game as well, so he can still successfully execute songs like that, but I don't want an album of nonsensical filler. OP is right though, he's touched on so many topics it's getting repetitive. I think a concept album with a specific theme is his best bet. I made a joke in another thread that he should dye his hair grey and title it Veteran.
