Sep 16, 2020 Absolutely. It isn't even a comparison though because Shady LTD was an actual clothing line. They designed and produced the whole items. What they are doing now is printing on t-shirts. My mates do this.

Sep 16, 2020 Shady XV was such a s-----y project. It really demonstrated how isolated Eminem is from his artists as their presence felt like a total afterthought. Slaughterhouse were f----- over completely. Their whole brand is built on the four of them being great rhymers and Joey and Joell got 1 verse each on the entire project. I guess at least they did better than D12.

Sep 16, 2020 Griselda manafacture their own merch. Theyre pretty known for what they do merch wise amongst their cult fan base. GUNN designs it all. Lotta their social media is videos and pics of them designing, boxing up and shipping out merch. That's one thing they wanted from the shady deal was to maintain the right to still release projects through their label and do their own merch.

They have already canceled in recent years: Relapse 2 Lose Yourself documentary (still Coming Soon) ShadyXX 3rd D12 album 50 Cent - SKI Slaughterhouse album But remember how much merch they released after 2012. Perhaps they released more merch than the tracks that were on the Shady Records albums.
Sep 17, 2020 yeah but theyre not promoting and making merch for albums theyre not releasing. griselda deal is for one group album (WWCD) and one conway solo and one Gunn solo. Gunn and conway release 3 to 4 solos a year. and Theyre super particular about their merch, thats all them. theyre not gonna let shady get involved in stuff theyre making a f--- load of money off of.

Sep 17, 2020 shady records 2.0 and onwards was a mistake. em and paul can't promote artists well. they should've just let it die in 2006-07 or whenever. obie was their best artist (50 doesn't count here, he was his own thing before shady) and they f----- it up. nothing after obie has worked well for them on that level.
