Mar 31, 2018 I don’t think people understand just how greedy labels are and how much they don’t give a single f--- about the artist. They care about money and nothing more. And when you can no longer make them money they drop you.
Mar 31, 2018 This....Some artists get dropped by their label mid tour and told to go home if their record doesn't perform well. They don't want to have to do that, if the label feels like Eminem isn't capable of making a good sounding album on his own(think relapse) they will intervene. Even arch nemesis Joe Budden admits it's not Eminem, it's the people behind him pushing the agenda. Eminem barely makes any new music. So, when he does, it's a pretty big deal for the label to maximize his profits as much as possible. How do you do that? Ed sheeran, Pink, Kelahni, Beyonce. You take those features out, remove the additions by Skylar and Alex and Rick, you are left with an entire album of Framed and eat my worms. You think interscope wants that? I honestly don't know what songs are worse. In Eminems case it might be better to have the label make the album for him. We will see when next album comes out produced by Dre. . Eminem will not be back with more of the same .
