Another one. I got a buddy who paid off the Sherwin Williams rep to give him all the other painters proposals. He also gave him a better price on paint. Now he owns a million dollar business. The SW rep was caught and fired, but the damage was done.

my manager at a burger joint never did background checks so we once hired a child predator who led kids into a hotel room, we had some guy get arrested for $100,000 in coke possession, and another guy get fired for beating off in the bathroom

idk never rly worked any shady places

only thing i can remember off top is font piracy

basically advertisement agencies pirate and share fonts between eachother to deliver for clients without actually paying for them. in the end the client ends up paying for the licenses so they can use the material w their brand identity typeface. but none of the designers pay for that s--- at all

the typographers know about it too tho every1 just turns a blind eye to it bc theres no way AD's and designers could survive financially if they had to spend 2000$ on every font they use lol

o lol i asked about it in class a couple years ago and my teacher was like "ye its illegal but ppl just turn a blind eye for necessitys sake."

in the end the typographers make more money that way either way bc the designers are more likely to pick different fonts and w every client theres a new purchase

In the hospitality industry in general Health & Safety and people's allergy requirements are absolutely one of the bottom priorities.

Some are better than others but there is a lack of culture across the whole industry.

Kroger knowingly puts expired meat out for sale. I have never worked for a more evil and depressing company in my life.
