Nov 24, 2014 So far I've listened 5 times and I'm scared its lost its replay value already i hope I'm wrong as i give it another try tonight.
Nov 24, 2014 I too typically am overhyped upon initial release; IMO it would go Recovery > XV > MMLP2/Relapse Thought that popped in my head today: Eminem has said he's had to "re-learn how to do everything" since his O.D.; maybe that Flow he had '99-02 will come back within another couple years? #WishfulThinking "I Keep, Walkin The Line" *ChikCheaka*
Nov 24, 2014 First off I love the new site! Second there are a few songs that really need to grow on me but Im loving it so far. Psychopath Killer, Twisted and ShadyXV are unreal. Not a huge fan of the flow but I can live with it. Id say 8/10
Nov 24, 2014 Maybe I need to actually download this and give it another listen and see if it grows on me, but right now I think I'd rather hear any other album from him.
Nov 25, 2014 i loved MMLP2, but i cant listen to it anymore. aged really badly and has no replay value left. same with recovery tbh. so far ive been listening to this s--- on repeat, f---ing loving it. so i gotta agree with koolo on this one
Nov 25, 2014 frankly, it's simply exhausting listening to Em deliver most of those verses save Vegas.
Nov 25, 2014 I think the title track Shady XV could pass as a MMLP 2 leftover as it's very similar to So Far...And I actually like that song. With the Lose Yourself demo being so good maybe that will make them more open to releasing more stuff from the vaults in future.
Nov 25, 2014 MMLP2 > XV for me.. I think the "buzz" around XV at the moment is just because its new.. If you all remember the hype on SL when MMLP2 leaked..
Nov 25, 2014 Just want to say how incredible the hooks are on this album. To me, Detroit Vs. Everybody has one of his best verses in years along with PK verse.
Nov 25, 2014 I think I need to give it more time because I played MMLP2 a lot when it came out and now I barely listen to it aside from a song or two. This I've been coming back to since the leak and I do like it quite a bit. Better than Relapse and MMLP2 probably, but give me a month and I'll tell you if it's better than Recovery lol
Nov 25, 2014 I remember the hype when Recovery was released. There was alot saying it was on par with TES.
Nov 25, 2014 Exactly.. everyone loves new music, especially new Em music.. but when the hype has died down and the replay value is less... how highly will XV be rated then?
Nov 25, 2014 In terms of accent and content Relapse is probably the most s-----y album. Flow, voice and delivery wise it's one of his best albums since his comeback
Nov 25, 2014 Recovery>>>MMLP2>XV>Relapse EDIT: thats from what I remember of that very forgettable album that is MMLP2. Fine Line might be the best song on either project though
