Nov 28, 2015 What? How is this not already a 20+ page thread spiraling to the age old question of when US will change their gun laws?
Nov 29, 2015 no ones really surprised anymore I suppose. it happens every month now, I'd be surprised if there wasnt one.
Nov 29, 2015 This is unfortunate.... I always question, are guns the real issue or are the people the issue?
Nov 29, 2015 people are the same everywhere, what makes the US different than other countries that don't have a weekly mass shooting?
Nov 29, 2015 ....Death by gun is not the only way to k---. I wouldn't focus on just guns because people will find other ways. In other countries that have stricter gun laws, is the murder rate lower? Maybe but I doubt significantly, which is why I say is it the gun or the people?
Nov 29, 2015 Its the people. You can easily k--- someone with a knife or really any other tool. A gun is just the easiest way to do it
Nov 29, 2015 how about careless gun laws, the US mental health system, and continuous media coverage and notoriety as part of the whole issue?
Nov 29, 2015 1) Terrorism is committed by brown people. 2) People do this stuff to get attention, so why indulge them?
Nov 29, 2015 It was only 3 dead which for the U.S is nothing. Just another shooting. More probably got killed in some hood that day
Nov 29, 2015 The people Been saying my opinion for a minute, this man's intent was to murder. Murder is a crime. Making owning guns a crime won't really dissuade someone already intent on committing a 10x worse crime
Nov 30, 2015 The argument is though that if some dude in the U.S wants to s---t up a school he can easily go buy an AR-15 from a store and easily k--- scores of people before he's stopped. If guns aren't so readily available I think it's fair to assume these sorts of massacres would decrease somewhat at least. Yeah the same guy can take a knife or a sword to carry out the attack but unless he has Ninja Gaiden skills the death toll will be much much lower. I know the counter argument to this is that he can buy guns illegally anyway. But I still think a lot of these people who carry out mass shootings would have a pretty hard time getting an assault rifle from the black market. Most people who buy guns from the black market are already criminals involved in gangs, d--- dealing or even robbery etc. Mass shooting isn't on their agenda. Their victims for the most part are other criminals. If we're talking about lowering the death toll of innocent people, I think banning guns would help lower that number even if it won't solve the problem overall. Btw I'm pro guns
Nov 30, 2015 This is probably the most important thing regardless of what your stance on gun control is. Mental health screening needs to be implemented in any screening process and should be an ongoing thing for gun owners
