Since we live in a more or less capitalists world, yes, they should, that's how capitalism works, so the question is stupid.
    Should we stick to capitalism?

While I definitely don't agree with the underlying philosophy of eliminating private billionaires on principle, I think we can all agree that there needs to be drastic reformation to the way the super wealthy are taxed. At the very least adding another tax bracket for those who make 7 figures a year would be a step in the right direction, and having an additional capital gains tax bracket would arguably help just as much.

I 100% agree with your statement, a lot of people don't though. I believe education enlightens others to believe that it is also possible for them, instead of just playing the victim card and blaming the government. In my opinion, the basis and foundation of those that are "super successful" isn't inheritance or money as you may have thought I meant, but financial education.

So reclaiming the wealth is victimhood? Sounds like the complete opposite to me.

I thought the victims were the billionaires we were taxing out of existence. So many mixed messages.

So you don't believe in empathy on principle? Are you a sociopath?

Taxing billionaires out of existence just because those who are not find it unfair is plain stupid. If A has a car, but B doesn't and finds it unfair, would it be logical for A to give up his car just to please B?

Finding it unfair that others "are billionaires, but you are not ", is just playing the victim's card. Obviously not everyone can become a billionaire, but if those same people complaining that it is unfair that people have billions focus on making smarter choices, they will be better off. Maybe not a billionaire or even a millionaire, but better off than blaming others.

If A has 500 cars, and B walks 3 miles to the bus stop, break out the guillotines.

If A and B have cars, and the Earth is doomed in a way that will only effect the poorest C and D, build mass transit and go green.

This isn't envy you nerd. Nobody in this thread is arguing "actually all the money in the world should be mine personally". That's what the greedy robber barons we're going to drive extinct do.

Well when you don't elaborate which principles prevent you from redistributing wealth it reads as one hiding behind "muh logic" to defend callous actions. Maybe don't be so vague if you want to be interpreted in good faith.
