Apr 22, 2015 Idk why but the concept album thing seems gimicky to me at this point. I think they should be rare and great when you decide to do them (GKMC was absolutely great). I do love the loose concept style s80 gave though. As for the goat conversation if you genuinely think Kendrick is a goat, you weren't alive or haven't studied when other stars made their prime runs. Kendrick is great and a personal favorite but I'd maybe put him top 5 if he drops another classic. Imo he's only had one album that will be widely seen as a classic in 10 years (GKMC)
