Seriously hospitals are so depressing. I think we aren't grateful enough to be healthy when we are. We take it for granted until we become sick. I have a hard time stepping foot in a clinique or a hospital even for a couple of hours. I can't even imagine having to stay for weeks, months or having to go on a regular basis.

Plain walls, nurses in plain white jackets etc.. Not mentioning babies crying, people coughing... They should find a way to make hospitals more lively and less depressing.

That’d be so hard...there will always be the underlying reason everyone is there that would overshadow any way of masquerading the sadness

Like the cancer wards...especially with kids. Man that’s f---ing depressing seeing that s---. They make it very colourful & try to hide the fact it’s a hospital but it just gives it that eerie feeling. So much respect for the workers there; I could never do that

A couple of weeks ago I had a cold, I was laying in bed with covers shivering from my toes to my head & I had like 3 blankets on me too, also the next day I took a hot shower and when I got out and went into my room my whole body was shivering like I was in a snow blizzard, I was like wtf. I've never been in that situation before.

I've never been in one but i'm sure they look depressing. I hope i have enough strength to k--- myself if i ever end up in something like that.

Seriously, they should put on some music, add some color to the walls, have a movie night or some s---, make them go outside. Way too many lonely old folks whforgotten in some of these shitholes. I'm sure there are a lot of old folks out there who are forgotten and alone in one of these shitholes getting mistreated and waiting to die. It's sad.

I don't really get sick, never had the flu, rarely get colds..etc.

I've been hurting a lot lately, mainly in my back because of scoliosis, which I have to wear a brace for 23 hrs a day.

When I have seen my family or friends get sick - sometimes quite seriously - it makes me fully appreciate how lucky the UK is to have free healthcare

I remember I got very sick back in 2014. Some very bad bug going around.

I had everything. A cold,diarrahea,sore throat,stomach ache & felt incredibly weak. Was in bed for about a week & lost about 4kg.

some horrible stomach flu. was vomiting nonstop to a point where i couldn't even drink water without puking it, lost a shitton of nutrients, skin was gray, nearly passed out during the short 6 hour wait in the ER lobby.

I would say the next day after I took too many benzos and oxys one night. I woke up and immediately threw up. It wasn't a usual hangover every breath I took made me throw up. Somehow I managed to drive my mum to work and play it off like I had a bad flu and I took the day off work and went home to die. I was pulling over and throwing up out of my door and out of the passenger door all the way home. I'm amazed how I managed to not crash and not get pulled over even if it's just like a 5 minute drive. I think I remember people honking at me though. After I got home I only remember wanting to die and vague text messages to some guy who wanted to buy my ps3. When I came to the next day I found cash in my rubbish bin, pills emptied in the bathroom sink, all my dvds and games were opened and scattered throughout the room, I had bought like 3 ps4 games on the playstation store and downloaded a bunch of demos and I had a bunch of text messages trying to sell a ps3 game to a guy for $100 because it was a limited edition


This was a period when I was heavily into pharmaceuticals and this event was the last straw prior to that I was ruining all my tinder dates by being stoned on xanax. I don't even remember most of them but it had to have been bad if the girls literally stopped talking to me and were deleting me off social media

there was a time where i was so anxious that i vomited every time i thought of my ex, and i thought i was gonna die because i couldnt keep my food down and i lost my appetite for about a month, so i went to the hospital and the doctor told me i was destroying my throat

I had a fever, nosebleed, double the white blood cell count, double ear infections, a throat infection, and was running a fever of like 103 when I was like 8. It was like a scene out of a zombie movie where somebody gets infected. Could've easily died from that.
