May 1, 2018 LMFAO at the amount of mental gymnastics going on in this thread to justify this fuckery. This man is out of his f---ing mind. Lol @ the f---ing liposuction rant though. How embarrassing. He's a weak little man. And this is coming from a man who thought circa-2013 Kanye was the greatest thing to ever happen.
May 1, 2018 I agree. All ears (including your) need to be pointed toward Caterpillar. Kanye trying to distract from possibly the best song of the year.
May 1, 2018 I have no doubt Kanye is too stupid/unconcerned/unstable to have a coherent political belief system beyond HURR DURR I'M A REBEL, but that contrarianism is manifesting itself as crazy right wing s--- atm. He's pilfering boiler plate reactionary talking points and should be held to account for it. For all intents and purposes, he's a cheerleader for reactionaries even if what led him here is more complex than that.
May 1, 2018 Hahaha the denial stage ...imagine walkin into the hood with a shirt that says slavery was a choice lol
May 1, 2018 I give zero f---s about all the attention seeking crazy talk as long as he keeps on putting out great music. By the same token, I’ve never cared whether a gangster rapper portrayed his life accurately in his verses — it’s all about the music to me. That said, the s--- song Kanye just released with T.I. suggests that we’re rapidly approaching Kanye’s version of an “Encore”.
May 1, 2018 This reminds me when Lil wayne said he's never experienced racism...these dudes are in fantasy land straight up
May 1, 2018 After the additional context he posted on twitter his message means more. I think people are jumping down his throat unfairly, Kanye has always been a pro black person and it’s not right to just instantly assume he thinks so lowly of his own race that he feels “black people wanted to be slaves.” Like seriously ask yourself how and why would Kanye genuinely want to believe that? Unfortunately because of the way he worded things and because he wore the MAGA hat he made himself subject to the witch hunt, which is not something someone suffering from mental health issues should be subject to.
May 1, 2018 Honestly Kanye has been involuntarily setting himself up for insanity...Some of the stuff he pushes for instance his gender fluid clothing line is not good...Its all messing with his mind. He naively did this ... I watched the interview he just did...the dude has gone through a lot. He basically has PTSD from everything ...his psyche is all scarred
May 1, 2018 haven't read any previous comments just want to put my thoughts in front of anyone willing to read. my guy Kanye is an outside the box thinker. his tweets clear up what he meant when he said slavery was a choice. he didn't mean it like "they chose to give their lives to someone who abused them and held them captive their entire lives" he meant that they accepted their fate at one point in time and further generations just continued what had been done before, just because it was what was done before. sure, not all slaves chose to accept their lifestyle; we know all about the brave ones that put their foot down. but they knew that what was happening was not right; they were not brainwashed like others were. those that were brainwashed by those who wanted to maintain slaves and their owners knew no better. the quote by Harriet Tubman says so much: "'I freed thousands of slaves, and could have freed thousands more, if they had known they were slaves." Kanye is simply piggybacking off the concept of being brainwashed (then and now with the billionaires and corporations), drawing comparisons of times throughout history we have been brainwashed and as he would say, have our free thinking oppressed. there is no harm in what he says and anyone who goes beyond the f---ing MAGA hat and loving trump tweets can see that. he likes donald trump the guy like tons of rappers did before he came in office and started f---ing s--- up in a horrible way. Kanye's opinion didn't change because he is more fascinated in the impossible happening (trump becoming president) than any political bs nonsense that is going on today. Kanye loves magic and there is nothing more than magical than a pop culture icon becoming president. he shouldn't support trump but does because he sees the human rather than the political s--- bag.
May 1, 2018 the weirdest part about this is that people are calling it a meltdown, when in reality this is just who he is... you can only have so many public "breakdowns" before people catch on to the fact that you're just f---ing warped.
