    no dude he didnt have final mixes on any of them

    thats why he said "vocal produced" i think. he was there to record and deal w the vocals back when they were first made

    but some other engineer made everything sound like it does. this tape has a very unified sound, just like im up (outside of hercules) does

    like, Hercules stands out on im up not only because its obviously heavy af and its metro, but cuz alex fully mixed that one.

    alex THOUGHT he had final mixers on all those at first, but then changed his tune once the tape dropped and reworded the s---. because he still worked/recorded all those...they just didnt use him for final mixes :emoji_slight_frown:

    but I don't get it, cause he clearly clearly has the best sound. shouldn't it be up to thug who engineers his vocals?

    all alex has told me is that its not up to him (alex) and its label issues or something idk man

    its upsetting because i 100% believe thug would benefit from having alex around to channel his creativity.

    it is up to thug, thug's the reason alex isn't doing it. be el be wants alex back but said "he be doing weird s---" and that's why thug doesn't work with him anymore.

    i heard that too i just never took it seriously. someone said thug said he "fired" alex on periscope one day i didnt believe that either

    but i guess...? idk. all alex ever told me is that it's complicated and i didnt feel like prying
