Jun 19, 2017 Could someone tell Shady Records that these pop stadium anthem style hooks are dated since about 2010.
Jun 19, 2017 Slaughterhouse's biggest problem is they are 4 man rap group, but after listening to the first dude, you are already bored
Jun 19, 2017 I always liked Royce and Joe Budden pre-Slaughterhouse. Both of them got incredibly corny once the group was formed, especially Joe. I wish Joe would've just stuck with Fab.
Jun 19, 2017 Hailie Mathers p--- i liked a few random joeeel ortiz/crooked I songs where they were a feature before slaughterhouse, didn't mind them. slaughterhouse made me hate them, i think the shady records thing made them way over confident, so they think they are on the same level of fame as eminem. probably think they just not as big because their deluded idiots that think hip hop is dead now. that's like the persona i get from all of them now.
Jun 19, 2017 Exactly. Joe Budden before Slaughterhouse was a pretty chill dude. He had a few beefs, but he wasn't this f---ing weirdo he is now. He started acting weird around the release of Padded Room, which ironically, was around the time that SH formed.
Jun 19, 2017 I'm annoyed that Joe's verse was cut. This group was supposed to be sold on their rap talent, and their most memorable songs are often pushing the 10 minute mark, yet one of the group is cut from the opening track for time. Shady Records absolutely failed these guys, and they all compromised for a major debut.
Jun 19, 2017 He wasn't cut for no reason, there were legal issues with him contract on his previously or so I heard. Then again it wouldn't make sense that he's one some tracks and not others so f--- knows. It's just something I remember reading back then.
Jun 19, 2017 Are you confusing it with 'Session One'? I believe Joe was cut from that song because of the label. As you said, I can't imagine Joe faced that problem on the group's own album. Offshore is great. As are Truth or Truth, Move On etc.
Jun 19, 2017 Yup, he wasn't lying. It's not their track. They're featured on it. That's what he meant. He was trolling us haha Not the best way to promote your first song in forever, but whatever.
Jun 19, 2017 Yes please. As soon as I heard the hook I cringed. I can't believe slaughterhouse is on ANOTHER track with a generic sounding and s-----y female hook. What a d--- shame. They should be on head nodding beats only. s--- you break your neck too. They should never be on an overproduced track. Ever. They're only goal should be BARS. They shouldn't give a f--- about anything else. They are consistently missing their mark and it's a d--- shame because they could drop remarkable material if they just went back to their f---ing roots.
Jun 19, 2017 this why the f--- would you get 4 lyrical rappers in a group then decide to go mainstream slaughterhouse is at their prime on some head nodding s---
Jun 19, 2017 This. They need simple beats where they can just rhyme. f--- all the other s---. They'd probably sell more if they stayed true to their strengths instead of getting on awful (and overproduced) tracks after signing with Shady. d--- shame.
Jun 19, 2017 do you remember the bunch of glass house snippets that leaked they sounded soo good, wish they kept some of them, that was like 5 years ago tho
Jun 19, 2017 Out of all of them, I like how Crooked I sounds the most. His voice and flow are just dope. Royce is cool. Budden and Ortiz are kind of boring. Hope they are not dropping an album soon though, that would mean an even longer delay before Eminem's album.
Jun 19, 2017 I doubt it, there seems to be a whole bunch of drama surrounding this track and i dont think joe would be promoting it. (ppl are speculating joe was talking about bar exam 4 on struggle) If anyone cares about the drama about this SH track go to https://twitter.com/Official_Kalisz and scroll down to around june 16-18. example: basically this isn't really a SH track at all, someone just paid for verses from each member via https://www.motmmgt.com/booking-list and put them together or something. thats what royce meant when he said it aint a SH track regardless, we may be getting a real SH track on BE4 very soon :
Jun 19, 2017 Probably poppy wack a--- single. Yelawolf became a real artist. Creative rapper, a great one. Slaughterhouse on the other hand, they still sound generic as f---. I mean it's 2010 to have female popish hook.
