Feb 9, 2022 He's just not good enough to have an 18 track album anymore. But at least it sounds better than what he released last year so far.
Feb 9, 2022 Snoop only has 2 good albums and maybe a couple decent ones which all had filler. It's not just now. Even his old albums are bloated. Most of them have 20-21 tracks so 18 really isn't that bad. I agree that he should focus on quality over quantity. But this has been a problem his entire career so don't expect it to change.
Feb 9, 2022 Heard Tha blue carpet treatment yesterday. Had some skippers but it was still dope I keep seeing praise for "Bush" too. But I have to hear this s--- myself. Obviously it might be time for Snoop to slowly close the curtains though.
Feb 9, 2022 Hang on, this is real?? Where's the Nas feature? Where's the DPG feature? Where's the Xzibit feature?? Wtf? The promo of this got me excited and now this looks s---.
Feb 9, 2022 Looks like Snoop now officially owns Death Row Records. Maybe DPG and Xzibit have been signed to DR. That would make my OP Insta posts make sense. But yeah, I'm hoping that tracklist is bs.
Feb 9, 2022 Beat me to it. Big news. But not surprising, he's been hinting at something like this for a while. He made a big deal a few months ago saying he should own it. The name of the album and now his endorsement of Doggystyleeee who has been making noise recently about doing the numbers he does independently but imagine what he could do it he was signed to a label.
Feb 9, 2022 That's pretty cool if he tries to make something out of it and starts signing artists. Not just buying to own the name/rights.
Feb 10, 2022 I remember when f---ing Hasbro bought Death Row. I think they barely did anything with it.
