Jul 29, 2020 No one Is saying talent Is determined By skin colour..But fans relate to people from similar backgrounds how many Eminem fans are black? 5% 10% 1%... majority of people who f--- with Em are white...Snoop will be on top 10 list over Em in most black hip hop fans list
Jul 29, 2020 Joyney, Royce, Kendrick I don't know if snoop would be top ten but I can see lots of black people putting snoop above Em
Jul 29, 2020 really? I don’t know...the minority of hip hop artists put Em on that list...most of them were signed to Em or have done lots of work with him...If you have 0 relationship with him I don’t see it... Snoop been in the game longer...has “gangster” label...got off murder charge...part of death row...etc...
Jul 29, 2020 He didn’t diss him really, just because you were not put in a list, doesn’t mean you got dissed, he didn’t say he “s----d/s-----y rapper” he just wouldn’t put him on his list
Jul 29, 2020 at the end of the day it's just an opinion. but sadly Em it's out of my top ten rappers too. To me the MMLP2 to Revival era was worst than Encore and affected his legacy No one can argue that he isn't one of the greatest but top ten? idk
Jul 29, 2020 Love Snoop. It’s just an opinion and I respect it. I would have Eminem in the top 10 for sure, but I’m also not 50 years old. People shouldn’t get upset or see this as a slight.
Jul 29, 2020 his opinion is fine. The funny part tho is how he said Dre helped Em find his best self which Dre also did for Snoop lol
Jul 29, 2020 I think to judge someone you need to just look at the greatest thing they accomplished. So for example if Eminem at one point created something great, which everyone agrees he did from 99 - 03, whatever he does wrong afterwards cannot alter that fact and the best work should stand in isolation as an example of what that artist was capable of at their best and should be regarded as one of the best merely on that fact. You can't really tarnish a legacy, it's like suddenly not liking Predator because other movies weren't that great.
Jul 29, 2020 I imagine Dre and Snoop are very close so this will likely be handled behind the scenes.
Jul 29, 2020 Didn’t snoop say Slick Rick was the greatest rapper ever? I’m willing to bet almost all of the rappers in snoops top 10 are people from the 80s to early 90s more so than anyone who came after that era. I don’t think the main reason em isn’t in his top 10 is because he’s white, it’s because he came almost a decade after his favorite era ended. Just like my Top 10 is mostly people from the 90s to early 2000s. But if you ask someone who is 10-15 years younger than me, their top 10 will probably include people from the late 2000s into the 2010s (for example, most of their lists will probably include Wayne and/or drake). I don’t know if I explained myself correctly but I think it’s just whatever era you love most is what will influence your top 10 the most.
