Jul 29, 2020 All those guys on my list are f---ing incredible. Most are underrated. Only reason Brotha Lynch is not in my top 10 is because the only good albums that he released were his “Dinner and Movie” trilogy of albums on Strange Music. Everything else has put out has been lackluster. Especially from a production point of view ICP has done more for the independent rap culture than almost any other artist. We just don’t see it because in the mainstream media they are seen as jokes. They have a business model and ways of treating their fan base that many bigger labels now replicate such as TDE and Yelawolf’s Slum Dog Millionaire. Missy Elliot was groundbreaking back in the day. The amount she has done for female hip hop artists is extraordinary. She created a platform for female empowerment. Women rappers like Nicki and Iggy would not exist or have the platform that they have today without the likes of the legendary Missy. She dropped f---ing fire back in the day. No denying it. Y’all think I just post random s--- but everything I post I can back up and truly believe in.
Jul 29, 2020 Absolute facts right there. If you open ur mind and think on it exactly how Snoop said it.
Jul 29, 2020 Snoop has sorta done this with Eminem once before and then turned around and showed love numerous times after. Ain’t no big deal. He said in the interview that’s his brother. Just if he’s picking 10 artists he could live without Eminem.
Jul 29, 2020 long story short: The cloth that Snoop’s cut from, there aint no-one there listening to and count Em as top 10. end of.
Jul 30, 2020 You aren’t a hip hop fan if you can’t acknowledge future’s influence in the last decade alone
Jul 30, 2020 While Eminem mastered the dictionary through rhymes Snoop is still learning to spell his name in songs. I kid. I love Snoop!
Jul 30, 2020 Doesn't Snoop have a song saying exactly the same thing called 'white boy' or something? Chorus went something like 'white boy white boy turn that s--- down'. Eminem never said s--- and will not say s--- this time around because Snoop is a legend.
Jul 30, 2020 But it isn’t. Can you back that claim up with actual facts? As Em May be my favorite rapper of all time, objectively speaking - futures discography smokes his. Future not only has DS1, DS2, Beast Mode, Monster, 56 Nights, EVOL, etc etc etc etc. Em might’ve influenced a generation of white rappers, but future inspired a movement, a lifestyle, and practically whole entire genre. Future, besides Thugger created the New Atlanta sound... em doesn’t even have any pull in influence when it comes to the current sound in Detroit... meanwhile, Atlanta artists aspire to walk in Future’s footsteps. With Em’s painfully average output for ten years, Future has had one of the most incredible outputs in the last ten years so how is it a reach? Your defense is more of a reach than @M Solo ‘a.
Jul 30, 2020 It isn't what he said, it was how he said it. Completely valid for him not to put em in top 10. However, him acting like he was disgusted at the notion and that it was outrageous to consider.thats where it feels like a diss
Jul 30, 2020 Meh, if you look at this deeper, the fact he's saying Eminem can't f--- with rappers from the 80's, just means Eminem is still high on his list. You think Snoop has many 2000's rappers on his list? Doubtful. He most likely has his top 10 filled with 80's and 90's rappers, and then the 2000's cats come in, and that's it.
Jul 30, 2020 Its always the same. You got two sides of the coin. You can make your personal top 10 and you can have a top 10 where the creters like skill, fame etc. decide. Pac and biggie as example are not in my personal top 10
Jul 30, 2020 I think it's more the way the opinion was put across that seems f----- up not the opinion itself.
Jul 30, 2020 Snoop just seems to like different styles and Era's more than Em , thats it The question we need to ask is why the f--- did Eminem put Joyner Lucas is his greatest rapper of all time list
