Jul 31, 2020 It seems to me that, to a lot of people but especially to black people in hip hop, relatable = good. Every time people explain why eminem is not on their list they say things like "i cant relate to him hating his mother, serial killer thing", etc. Snoop is like that too. Its almost like you can make a s-----y, simple song thats relatable and automatically its better than Stay Wide Awake because of the content. Well, let me tell you, you have to start distinguishing relatable from good. I can't relate to a guy killing his old landlord with an axe, but Crime and Punishment is a brilliant book. ...and I can relate to nerds who can't get a date, but The Big b--- Theory sucks
Jul 31, 2020 Getting a multiple personality disorder is probably the best way to go to relate to all of it. My lean sipping face tatted personality is not welcome at family reunions though
Jul 31, 2020 WTF? The fact that he is a single doesn't mean he never dates, or sleeps with anybody. 20 years ago he wasn't even 30 (so before The Eminem Show). Your maths (and logic) sucks.
Jul 31, 2020 you think so? your probably right...that’s all EM Does during his days...write music, produce music, listen to music...read forums....watch vladtv.... I just find it hard EM would be interested in new snoop...unless Dre playing it in the studio...
Jul 31, 2020 interesting, had no idea...that makes sense... snoop definitely has nothing good to say about em..so defending jd at that time can result in life long hate
Jul 31, 2020 Cbf watching but Snoop fried his brain long ago. I don't really care what he has to say about anything.
Jul 31, 2020 I can’t believe this got that much attention. Mind you yes. For me, I wasn’t a fan of Snoop’s dismissive tone and delivery towards the end it’s the same passive aggressive s--- Joe Budden Podcast does. ESPECIALLY Mal But, other then that why is this such a big deal? Lol
Jul 31, 2020 Unfortunately true. I thought Snoop was gon find a way to over dose on weed by now honestly.
Jul 31, 2020 Most do embrace the growth though. Look at all of Post Malone's features and collaborators......they're all Black. The man who cosigned Eminem is Black. 50 Cent who trashes every rapper under the sun and even disrespects his own son never speaks bad about Eminem. A lot of new school rappers like Kendrick, Drake, Juice Wrld, etc. shout out Em. Em just did a collab with Kid Cudi. Big Daddy Kane called Em the "Kobe Bryant" of hip hop. Rakim said that if Em was Black, he'd be the Muhammad Ali of Rap. Kool G Rap said that Em was the last emcee who impressed him lyrically. I mean yeah....it's annoying to see a vocal minority go against Em or White rappers IF the sole reason for it is race. I also didn't like what Jermaine Dupri said about female rappers going downhill last year and singling them out when male rappers have gone downhill as well. But, at the end of the day, it's useless to focus strictly on a vocal minority of people who say things you disagree with instead of the majority.
Jul 31, 2020 In for the response in 5 years when Eminem mentions it on a random track and how it cut him deep, but never said anything out of respect. Snoop never f----- with Eminem so not surprising.
Jul 31, 2020 Hmm.... Interesting. I guess some of y’all are right. Snoop does have some lowkey issue with Em. Tone is everything man. People can slip up and revel some s--- if you know how to listen.
Jul 31, 2020 Dont think this is a fair comparison as far as abilities go (even 2020 em) but topic wise... h--- f---ing yes! Low Life is 10/10, In too deep sux
Jul 31, 2020 Eminem stans love to talk about BARS and real hip hop or whatever, but dismiss Future, who is easily one of the best writers in rap at the moment, out of hand because he’s got a leaned out voice and raps over 808s. It’s whatever if you’re not a fan of his music, but at least be real, you all don’t care about lyrics at all.
