Got faith Too Short, Snoop, and E40 can put something good together. Most worried about Ice Cube’s involvement. Not that I don’t like Ice Cube, he’s top 10 at least, but he hasn’t put together a solid album since the 2000’s.

There was a lot of good stuff on Coolaid as well. Snoop albums have always had filler. But he's definitely still able to make bangers.

Yep Cube is the clear weak link to me, if anything I'm sure Short/Snoop/40 can put together a few fun songs.

I'm dustier than most on here and this will be terrible. I don't even want to hear Ice Cube's political opinions in 2020 let alone a rap track lol

Exactly, even if the whole album isn't too good, he's still able to put a few good songs in there.

I think I was making a general point, as someone in their 30s occasionally checking out Rap Radar or w/e

Rap's a young mans sport, imo, so I mostly gravitate toward artists who were popular when i was in school, as opposed to keeping up on new artists i have little in common with or care about. again, generally speaking, i see a charisma gap with a lot of newer artists which is fine, its not for me. im pretty comfortable casually following dad rap or dust rap or w/e ppl say lol

Fr? I prefer the blatant trend chasing on Raw Footage than the absolute nothingness on I Am The West. Could happily live without hearing his kids rap ever again.

I find it hard to listen to Cube's records when all he talks about is race and politics.

    f---, yes please.

Didn't realise there was so much dislike for Cube nowadays though. d---. Everythangs Corrupt was GREAT. I am the West was a steaming pile of horse s--- though. Bleaugh.

Yes he is getting too in people's faces with his political POVs but I still give him props for fighting in what he believes in. Gotta respect that. I can't relate but I'm always happy to see people show passion. As long as it's not in a certain S80 section...

Anyway, I'm very interested in how this will turn out. I can see Cube, Too Short and Snoop blending well together. Not sure I'm ready for E40's flow on every track. He's good for a feature but I can't stomach a whole listening experience of his flow.

I liked this album a lot when it was released back in 2010. Of course Raw Footage > any album released after that tho

It's the exact same for me lol.

I have a really hard time getting into modern rap.

All of the artists I listen to are from the 90s and 2000s and even if most of them are passed their prime I still checkout their projects.
