Apr 9, 2017 Thank you! The intro track in particular is one I'm very proud of. The flow falls off pretty badly in multiple points, but it's such a personal song and I felt a lot of pressure to nail the story whilst writing it. The second verse actually ended up being the last verse I finished writing for the entire tape; it took me a while to be able to put that incident into (rhyming) words. I think flow, delivery, etc. can all be coached but I don't feel the same about one's ability to craft something genuine. Oh man I forgot all about Denance hahaha
Apr 9, 2017 I'm pretty sure you're white so I'll say this- don't sound white pls I can't tell if you guys do it on purpose or not, im white btw but sound nothing like the cliche white rapper thank god. Flow/Delivery is good, lyrics are meh, cover is dope, your name though I would change could run into some trademark issues in the future.

Apr 9, 2017 Thanks for the feedback; I'm just curious as to what potential trademark issues you're referring to. I've switched my alias once already and it would be a bummer to have to do so again. I searched for any artists, organizations, etc. named Legitimate beforehand and couldn't find anything that might pose a problem.

Apr 9, 2017 I almost forgot! Shoutout to @DJ Now on that one. Idk if he's even active on here anymore, but I was very satisfied when he whipped that up. I had some pretty specific requests and he nailed them all.
Apr 9, 2017 I think the "too white" thing can mostly be attributed to my inexperience at the time of recording. Just my vocal inflections and forcing speed and such. It's something I've become a lot more aware of as time has passed and I think you'll be very pleased with the new track I plan on posting soon. As far as my name, it's funny you say that because I think it's actually a huge selling point. It's almost like Chance the Rapper in the way that it forces you to take him seriously. Who is Chance? Well that's simple, he's a rapper. It doesn't sound off-putting now because he's evolved to a place where his position in the game lives up to his alias. But when he first decided to roll with that I'm sure it sounded goofy to some of his homies, and didn't fit the same way it does now.
