Dec 21, 2018 Welcome everybody to the third SotW of December. The last time that we listened to this week's track was back in 2015 and this time, it marks the end of the 'Relapse' theme that we had going on for the last month, as 'Beautiful Pain' has been selected by as this week's featured track. Considered one of Eminem’s most meaningful and least profane songs, this track marked the first time Sia and Eminem collaborated (they have since collaborated again on his 'Shady XV' track 'Guts Over Fear'). Sia, at the time of recording this track, was most well-known for her collaborations with David Guetta, featuring on his smash hits 'Titanium' and 'She Wolf'. Since however, she has made a name for herself with her chart-topping single 'Chandelier'. Unfortunately Sia was attacked for collaborating with Eminem who’s considered to be quite homophobic with his often politically incorrect lyrics. Sia being a proud supporter of the LGBT community was guilted, and while she defended Eminem knowing he had nothing against the h---------- community, out of guilt she donated her proceeds from the song to the Los Angeles LGBT Center. Every week there will be a new song that gets featured at the top of the subreddit. Users can leave a comment and the song that gets the most votes might be the new Song of the Week. Suggestions for improving the next post are encouraged......
Dec 23, 2018 That song is dope. One of those rare Em ft. Pop star gems. Could be one of the most underrated songs ever. I would've preferred this over The Monster as a lead single tbh.
