Apr 20, 2015 I actually thought Eminem's verse on Calm Down was solid, but I didn't care for that beat at all. It was too overwhelming and ruined any replay value. If he can deliver something of that quality or better I won't complain. I've wanted this feature for so long, but I've realized there's no way it can meet my unrealistic expectations, so just hoping for the best and expecting the worst so I don't get disappointed. As a long time fan it's disheartening that's what my attitude has come to be, that I just hope he doesn't embarrass himself. So much raw talent/potential that he often f---s up with either a weird flow, poor delivery, lame line, or that cut the music out at the end of a punchline bs he does... I don't really care for his rap as fast as you can, squeeze as many rhymes and syllables as possible into each verse, but that's the point of the song. Would have loved to see him on Psycho b---- III instead, but what can you do? We'll know soon enough I guess.
