Dec 17, 2021 Liked it, but I'm disappointed about the first post credit scene. I also saw a Christmas tree, does that mean what I think it means for next Wednesday? My top 2 still IW and Endgame, but this was pretty good.
Dec 17, 2021 The satisfaction of watching Tom beat the dog s--- out of Dafoes goblin at the end on top of the broken shield was awesome & I’ll watch it in theaters 5 more times just for that part alone Loved the scene in the beginning where sandman meets Peter & thinks it’s Tobey & was ready to fight electro by his side no question, idk why I didn’t expect them to give the characters that much depth or acknowledge their developments before the MCU but I didn’t The really tense scene in the beginning after his identity is revealed where he grabs MJ & swings her to aunt May’s apartment is also something so satisfying I could watch it 100 times really felt like Spider-Man 8 even while it capped off the high school trilogy pretty well & I love how you don’t have to wait for the action, he’s fighting doc ock within like I wanna say it felt like 20 minutes it might’ve been the first 25 max but after that pheww Matt’s scene was kinda wack to me besides catching the brick but even his line after that, the delivery at least was unfortunate. I really have no idea why they cut a court scene even if brief if they had one (supposedly was cut) I’ve got nothing to say about Garfield’s Spider-Man that’s not already been said, he really got to be the star there towards the end, his mannerisms after exiting the portal & introducing himself were amazing.
Dec 17, 2021 This is the best superhero movie I've seen in my life! It was just as epic as if Eminem 2002 (2000-2007 era), Eminem 2010 (09-11 era) and Eminem 2021 (17-21 era) met together after many years!
Dec 17, 2021 Just back from the cinema, Very good Spidey film, should have kept the multi dimensional aspect away from marketing and trailers. Would have added to film if they did. Definitely burnt out now though with Marvel. They need a break and come back with something different but that’s not happening with what they have planned with their releases.
Dec 17, 2021 I went to see it, needed ideas for our comic, Supsuck-Man. Did you keep your mask on Sup? s--- is getting wild over there. Didn't you say they were movies for kids? lol I mean they are, but you said it like you hated them or some s---. It sucks how everything was leaked. The only thing I didn't know is the May thing, and it seems like that had also been leaked through the soundtrack smh.
Dec 17, 2021 Holy f--- I know. Dafoe l plays that unbelievably well. Making him so unlikeable yet a favourite. loved this movie. Definitely going to see it again. Doc Ock and Tobey seeing each other again for the first time was icing on the cake for me
Dec 17, 2021 After seeing the movie all I can say is : Spoiler SONY!!!! Make Spiderman 4 with Tobey,Raimi and the rest of the Crew!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Tears man Tears, he still has it and when the old music kicked in I was about to pass out.
Dec 17, 2021 Definitely a cool movie. The way Andrew and Tobey were introduced was kinda..weird? Like Tobey wasn't really confused that there was a magic portal that leads to some random a--- kids? Did i miss something? I need to see it again. Dialogue wasn't flawless imo. There were a couple scenes that I thought could've been written better But Norman's iconic line for an example.... That was great. The actual conversations between Tobey, Tom and Andrew were awesome. I also loved how Tobey and Andrew talked about their experiences, epecially when Tobey mentioned Venom xd When Sandman disappeared at the end I really felt like he wasn't really needed in this movie ? J. Jonah Jameson wasn't really funny. I don't like the ending tbh. Like we could talk about what it means for Peter as a charactere and so on. But I just don't like it. You want a reason why I don't like it? Imagine the og movies wouldn't exist. Would it be a good idea to reset a chunk of a charactere's live in the THIRD movie if that was the case? Peter and MJ become a couple at the end of the sequel and now everything is over again. He also lost May too. From a writer's perspective: who's going to be the adult in peter's live that he's going to look up to? It's weird. Everything I didn't criticize was good. 9/10 imo
