Splinter Cell never fell off(except for maybe Conviction). Never as good as the first three again? Sure. I guess you could argue that, though I actually think Blacklist is better than the first two Splinter Cell games. But saying the series fell off is questionable. Of course, I'm just talking about Splinter Cell's campaigns since Metal Gear has not nor probably will it ever be on the same level as SC when it comes to multiplayer.

As for MGS being the greatest series of all time. I don't know about that. There's a lot of game franchises that provide competition.

Haven’t played Conviction honestly, I jumped off the franchise before that, still don’t think it ever came close to Metal Gear’s peak and I love the first three SC games. Although to Splinter Cell’s credit, it’ll probably never f--- up as badly as MGS did with Phantom Pain.

Mostly that it’s not finished. The game is overlong and bloated as f--- (took me 48 hours from opening to end credits) and full of filler missions, and yet has no real ending. The final set of missions were cut out entirely and the game just kinda stops. The second act is made up mostly of harder versions of missions you already played and even the finale is just a repeat of the first mission with a new cutscene added in. The plot also makes no sense, even by MGS standards and f---s up the canon of the other games.

i didnt like them as bosses tbh, mgs franchise always had crazy bossfights and giving us these guys is kinda lazy if you ask me

I remember battling against boss in mgs3 on that flower field or something and when you defeated her snake was standing above her and I was waiting for like " come on lmao s---t her wtf did the game glitched?" and I figured after 5 minutes that I had to press the button to k--- her

rising aint an mgs game tho, the gameplay isnt about stealth at all and shouldnt be compared with the rest of the series
