He got furious with me the day I said youtubers knew about Drake’s kid months before Pushas diss. Big country got upset over that for some odd reason. He literally thought it was some big secret Pusha leaked, whenever there were already 100 videos on YouTube about it. And yeah I’m packing you’re f---ing right. Got my 9mm under my bed atm while charging my phone browsing this forum. I live in the woods so it’d be an ideal place for a smart robber to try and rob.
Jun 22, 2018 In all seriousness @dna hits I love 2/3 of the singles he put out (god’s plan and nice for what) so I’m anticipating this album to be good I’m just legally obligated to shitpost against drake rn cuz I’m a clipse stan. But I do think you underestimate how many people had no idea about the drake kid rumor, so even if push wasn’t the first one to report the it he was the first to lend it credibility to a massive audience. People are gonna pay more attention to a rapper calling out another rapper in a highly public beef than a random dj akademics Instagram post capitalizing for clout on any and every tidbit and rumor he can scrounge up.
Jun 22, 2018 this is how I can tell you’re old school. These news channels im referring to have millions of subscribers getting and releasing Drakes kids news (up to 8 months ago). It wasn’t some lame Instagram post. Quit trying to downplay what I was originally trying to get across. These big YouTubers I’m talking about have more subs than Pusha’s total fan base. Yeah there were obviously some people hearing about Drake’s kid the first time through the Pusha diss. But only older people who don’t use internet much or keep up on new music and new beef news online.
Jun 22, 2018 I wasn’t trying to downplay youtube — I just remember you mentioning dj akademics previously. It’s not like instagram isn’t a huge platform just like YouTube lol. I’d argue news generally breaks on platforms like Instagram and twitter and then youtubers capitalize on it.
Jun 22, 2018 And @dna hits even if I concede that the vast majority of people knew drake was rumored to be hiding a child and I’m just a grandpa in my 20s who uses Instagram instead of YouTube...context is key. The whole adidas thing and putting how drake is treating his child side-by-side with his relationship with his dad is what stings (not to mention the whole 40 thing is adding insult to injury).
