May 4, 2016 @Narsh @Soldier So I peeped some of Young Thug's catalog and Kevin Gates. Mostly just random songs. I gotta say, much like Future, it's not my NORMAL cup of tea, but I was impressed with both artists. narsh, I kind of see where you're coming from when talking about Young Thug's voice. This dude has insane vocal range. Personally, I feel weird liking what he does with his voice lmfao. It's kind of like an instrument though. I'll be like yo, this dude sounds weird as f---, what is he doing, then two seconds later, s---'s stuck in my head and I like it. Kevin Gates appeals to me a bit more, but I really like the conceptual writing by both. How they'll take a phrase and turn it into life situations and what not, just like I felt with Future. There's just something about Young Thug though, in a positive way.... In saying all of this, I don't know how far I'll go with both of their music, much like Lil Wayne, TI, or other artists I respect, but I'm not really into. However, I'm definitely intrigued, and I'm going to continue listening and exploring their music, much like Future's. You guys did a good job selling it to me, so props.
May 4, 2016 I remember a friend (idk if it's ok for me to say who) got this leak way back before the whole leakening happened and it was labelled OG Skyfall. On the Making Of Skyfall video on YouTube you can hear how the beat progresses but I'm not sure if this is an early draft of the song or a seperate song because I recall in an interview Travis saying he had Metro Boomin and I believe Sonny Digital and Sonny had a beat and they lifted the drums from Metros beat because it matched the tempo of Sonny's beat. It may not have been Sonny Digital but I know for sure that's how it happened, so this is either metros original beat or a rough rough cut of Skyfall.
