Mar 28, 2016 He need's to take advantage of his teenage white suburban fan base to have a 500K Gold selling album He basically can do those numbers once he get's them to buy his music makes them feel comfortable enough to feel his music is marketed towards them, is more PC with them as far as interviews, basically tap into that market
Mar 28, 2016 I wonder if I'm the only one who immediately thought that Goku from DBZ was selling records in his SS3 form, when I saw the title.
Mar 28, 2016 This where rappers who have immense buzz but don't do great numbers don't translate that buzz into high record sales can learn from Eminem Eminem markets his music to the pop crowd teenage suburban girls, he makes catchy pop music they love but he does the PR thing well he basically makes them feel as proud as they can to be a fan. And that has resulted in his amazing record sales and success Lil Wayne from 2006-2011 did well to tap into that Eminem teenage girl fan base had they done a collab album together around that time Wayne would still be a top seller right now Young Thug markets his music to the hood i'm from the hood and in all my time growing up here 1 thing is obvious people from the hood don't buy music they download it for free. Where as suburban white teenage girls are the ones who actually buy music. So he has to get them on side to have a successful career as far as record sales Sometimes it is the subtle things like having white models/dancers in his music video, collabing as often as possible with popular white artists, wearing and promoting clothing brands associated with white people, praising popular white artists in interviews
Mar 28, 2016 If u a real fan u will want dude to be successful But i suspect u are basically a fake fan a wannabe who listens to artists he percieves are cool to try fit in If we look at the facts u are a middle class Indian dude, from the suburbs, a student, from a good family that listens to hood artists an environment and culture u are not from u basically a wannabe hipster How many Indian people listen to Young Thug? u the only 1 i know U come across as a wannabe this is why people give u a hard time over your appearance and the way u act. A lot of also is ironic that u are a wannabe and obsessed with popular hood artists even though u a middle class suburban student of Indian origin as your people are racist towards black I look at u as a culture vulture
Mar 28, 2016 So u will never be apart of my culture u can learn a lot from this classic phrase 'i would rather be hated for something i am rather than loved for something i'm not' Let's not forget how badly u got clowned over that song u posted on SL this is a fact And a recent thread on here when u posted your twitter and people clowned u over a pic of yours on there Stick to Bollywood, Bhangrha, Jay Sean, and focusing on being a Doctor
