Okay so “bad guy”

What’s the hype about this song?

Don’t get it. Sorry guys. Even the third verse hype.. don’t get it. This the album that lost me honestly. That’s what I remember anyways and so far bad guy left me dry as f---.

In fact third verse the worst one.

Okay but once song changes... it’s fuckibg dope. I’m down with that... wow!! This is the review LIVE

Rhyme or Reason:

Not bad. I’m still left unimpressed especially after the end of Bad Guy. Chorus is decent and I like the beat. Just not connecting.

MMLP2 ranked 2nd last to me followed by Relapse.. but I’m giving this album a second chance tonight. So far... bleh.

So Much Better:

Classic Eminem / Dre type beat.

Classic Eminem Chorus.

Best song of the album so far. Could be on MMLP I guess. Would be one of the worst songs on the album but I like it.

Chorus is awesome!! I wish he still did these choruses honestly..

The verses are honestly a huge drop off honestly. Could have been a classic song

I saw the My Name Is Premiere on MTV when I was 16. I thought it was a bs comedy/parody album and had no interest in it. I think it dropped in February but it wasn't until May before I decided to give it a shot after Guilty Conscience came out maybe? I went for an hour drive or so and listened start to finish. I was f---ing blown away. I couldn't believe how good it was. That Christmas I got some burnt CDs on ebay from his Rawkus days and it was even better! But only a few of my friends were really into him then.

It wasn't until a year later in May when MMLP buildup happened after Forgot About Dre that he blew the f--- up and EVERYONE was playing MMLP.

Great times. There never will be that movement again in TV or music. Too much variety and platforms has stretched everything out so thin. Too much choice for one singular thing to be that mainstream ever again.

By 2002, I was lurking on D12World and registered in 2004. I met Jason at the Shady National Convention. LOOOOL What a loser he was (RIP)

Legacy:

Here is a song by the name I had big expectations:

Just from starting this song and keeping in mind I know the future now.. this is the best song on the album so far. Not a fan of the chorus. I still don’t think this song makes my rotation because believe it or not I don’t only listen to Eminem and this song ain’t worthy.

It’s dope though. But that’s all I’ll give it. Best song on album so far.

Keeping in tradition though, third verse is the best in this song though. But... still..

I’m weird sometimes I like odd songs.

I’m a fan of “my first single” hated the chorus but loved the verses.

I can respect this song. I remember this song. And I actually like the chorus. So my take is.. verses not quite as good as “my first single” but this song is dope. I prob enjoy this most so far.

Still wouldn’t make my playlist.

My friends daughter can rap the fast part to this and I made her do it on Snapchat.. she’s 14. She did a decent job.

s----s soft.

Not in my playlist. Sorry.

Her dad (my good friend) likes this song but now a days he tells Alexa to play Khalid all day. And when I show him music I think is dope he ain’t feeling it. Nuff said. He will let you play biggie all day though.

However all that said this song is in okay for best song on the album so far imo.. I’m just weird so I’d put a------ above it.
