Apr 14, 2017 I change my theory. Im thinking Luke went into hiding to train himself to control the dark side so he could be the balance of the force (Maybe there is a twist where luke killed the jedi younglings and Ben went to the dark side because of luke) But Luke mastered it and now he will teach Rey to balance it so there doesn't need to be a Jedi vs. Sith but both of them together. In the poster Rey was holding a blue and red light saber as well.
Apr 14, 2017 like some1 else said, trailer didn't do much for me. this could go either way for me, but i'm not expecting much (just hope it's better than 7) also anyone else notice the scene with the fighters (idk what these new ones are called) going across the ground? like they just redid the scene from 7 with the x-wings flying across the water in the trailer lol
Apr 14, 2017 I'm ready. My depression and anxiety they're ready. My body is ready. My suicidal tendencies are ready. Ready.
Apr 15, 2017 This trailer wouldn't have done much for me either if it wasn't for 3 things. 1. ''Help me Obi-wan'' 2. Darth Vader breath 3. Yodas voice These hints are giving me blue balls
Apr 18, 2017 Can't remember the timestamps, But I believe it was around 0:47 with the obi-wan line and vader breath, as for Yoda, its near the end of the trailer, very hard to hear. Most likely people in the comment Section on YT has pointed this out
May 25, 2017 hopefully when the inevitable lightsaber battle goes down they can actually showcase a decent bit of choreography this time instead of it being another incoherent mess up closeups, jump cuts, and wild, aimless swinging like in 7...
May 25, 2017 LOVED Rey vs Kylo's lightsaber battle. Every swing felt weighted and dangerous. Really enjoyed it.
May 25, 2017 i mean, if you enjoyed it good on you, but it was shot badly for a fight scene imo, actual choreography aside this part doesn't rly make sense tho and i've never understood this position they're not suppose to be awkward and cumbersome to wield, they're lightsabers. they're not heavy like an actual sword, and the only reason they ever seemed weighted in the earlier movies is because of the technology behind the original films limiting what they could do to create the effect (resulting in heavy a--- props that were difficult to use/choreograph with). we're long past that now, and every move in the original saga reflected that as they progressed, with the fights getting better and better and better from 4 to 6 to 1 to 3... they just kept improving then 7 comes along and it's shoddy and a massive step backwards
