Dec 29, 2017 Just watched a copy of it, and barring the film quality itself, and a few minor nit picks, I actually quite enjoyed it.
Jan 13, 2018 movie was a big mess bad humor (a momma joke in a SW movie lol), a sub plot that str8 up s----d, bad pacing and some questionable decisions. Meh film tbh
Jan 13, 2018 As a major Star Wars stan, this movie blew badly. It's like the director Rian Johnson never even saw a Star Wars movie before, but saw The Force Awakens and hated it but wanted to make the sequel just for the money. The movie was a mess man and I hate to say that because I was so hyped for it. Easily my least favorite Star Wars movie ever smh
Jan 14, 2018 What were people's problems with this movie? I didn't see it until last week so I avoided any discussions about it and am kinda surprised to see a lot of negative feedback. I enjoyed it quite a bit. Maybe I'm just a more casual fan than some here but it's pretty much what I was expecting.
Jan 14, 2018 stupid reasons; -jumping to lightspeed into other ships ruins star wars cannon (has happened before in cannon) -being a wizard that can survive in outer space for 1 minute or two is unrealistic IRL (has happened before in cannon) -Luke should have went and 1v1million the empire with his laser sword instead of appearing as a god-like deity that survives an airstrike from like 20 AT-AT gorillas infront of the last remaining resistance members that think the force is just a bunch of "s--- fairy tales" -Luke spent a large protion of his life fixing the problems of his father Vader, he definitely would have as an old senile man, decided to save Kylo - Never would have thought for a fraction of a second "if i k--- him this wont start any problems" because he is pure (even though he turned to the darkside to overpower vader in ROTJ) logical reasons; -americhink forced insert and character development -Rose is a c---- -Rose f----- everything -If Finn sacrificed himself (was once apart of the empire causing massacres and all sorts of evil s---. gives the ultimate sacrifice (his life) to save the resistance. BRAVO DISNEY!) and Rose didn't intervene Luke would still be alive. -the bombing run near the start... Ok no gravity in space, but the remote control falls? Ok, maybe it's artificial gravity inside the ship. But the bombs fall into outerspace and continue falling downward to the ship? Ok, the writers explained the bombs have magnets that when they activate will fly towards the surface of the ship or some such. Okay... ? why not just already established homing missile droid bomb technology? fucken ugh.
Feb 5, 2018 the last jedi was trash. Can't beleive Luke threw away his lightsaber when he was supposed to fight palapatine totally out of character and riaan johnson is a hack
