Dec 26, 2015 N-iggaz4life is better produced, that's the truth. But Straight Outta Compton is raw, real and probably the most revolutionary gangsta rap album. It's Iconic. Who doesn't know F The Police and Straight Outta Compton (even without the movie)? N.W.A is what The Beatles was to rock. Short run, long legacy.
Dec 26, 2015 I actually prefer N4L. It's got a more of a modern sound. A much bigger role for Dre both production wise and rapping. And more vocals from Eazy and MC Ren (my favorite member). Cube was always my least favorite member anyway. SOC had more "classic" songs though.
Dec 26, 2015 Straight Outta Compton. N4L really felt gratuitous for the f--- of it. It felt like they were compensating for Cube's absence. Cube brought a well balanced approach to the group's content. They were from the hood but they had a message. N4L is just some straight up goon s---.
