I got mario kart dx, no splatoon yet not a huuuuge fan of the first but Im interested in getting splat if it goes on sale. also have stardew valley which is getting a multiplayer update in the new year and is amazing if you dug Harvest Moon in it's prime.

I beat the story mode and am now at like 200+ stars. The end game is so amazing, Not gonna spoil anything but my goodness is it wonderful. let me know when yall reach it.

Breath of the Wild is worth the purchase alone and with more than 200 hours sunk in (first 120 were before the final boss in first playthrough) that's not even an exaggeration

this is like the perfect game guys idk
i beat it and i doubt im even at 50% yet plus theres unlockable hidden worlds post game and sooooooooooo many unlockable costumes and items

Got the game last night and played for about 45 mins... I collected every coin I saw before the 1st moon so I got like 350+ from running around throwing my hat at every single lantern or ground pounding the dirt lumps lol I get so much nostalgia from it even though it's a brand new game. The last Mario game I played was the first New Super Mario on the DS which was good but man... this just feels so f---ing prime Mario. We are entering the Nintendo golden age again 100%. I noticed Nintendo keeps pushing playing the game with the joy cons in each hand so I guess ill try it out today but I'm still not a fan of motion controls. I turned them off but it seems the vertical hat throw is just a basic move that you can't avoid so idk

I'm actually really surprised I haven't heard about a season pass or DLC... even Zelda had dlc announced before the game was out.

the motion controls are my one gripe
the motion controls in options are for when you're looking around in first person or if you're aiming the tanks, its like BOTW's bow shooting. you still have to shake the joycons to move the hat different ways which is a f---ing pain in the a--- on handheld mode
thats the only thing i dont like about it. really wish they'd patch in a way to not use it at all.

I wish they would realize we just want a controller in our hand that we push buttons on and saved all their cool new ideas for VR or something. I'm sure if they got into VR they would do it better than the others and could come up with some cool s--- and possibly make it become popular but keep the 2 separated smh

i managed to beat the game without too much trouble from the controller waggling and for the most part it is just optional stuff like tossing your cap a different direction or jumping a little bit higher as something you captured but yea i wish it was fully optional. cant even imagine how it is playing with the pro controller having to waggle it like that.

You're playing with joycons detached? Or handheld only? It's a pain moving the entire controller I feel like I have no control over where it goes. I can't figure out how to do the "lock on homing throw" or whatever either. I notice the icon above enemies sometimes but idk how I'm triggering it
