May 26, 2016 I would say, the finales ranking S5 (where the show should have ended, Sam going to the cage) S4 (lucifer free) S3 (dean to h---) S8 (angels falling) S2 (closing the gates of h---) S7 (Dean and Cas to purgatory) S9 (Demon dean, even though that storyline was ruined in s10) S10 (mark of cain gone, darkness set free) S11 (mary back/amara and chuck happy) S1 (the accident with john) S6 (cas being god. I do love s07e01 tho. But the whole season had no direction and eve was just for 3 episodes before they switched to cas being the big bad). All finales are at least a 8/10 for me tho. And I mean the whole episodes btw not just the things I mentioned
May 26, 2016 Crowley needs to rebuild h---, rogue demons, ghosts, creatures, maybe even have men of letters release a few things onto sam and dean, this season can be the best in years if played out right and with a new showrunner it's possible.
May 26, 2016 i don't agree with not having cas around (but yeah crowley seems useless now), this show isn't just about sam and dean anymore, yes they are the main ones but like dean says, cas is family. he'll always be around. in fact, they always give him part of a storyline and never expand on it like last season and the beginning of this one, the angels and metatron kept asking cas whose side is he on, heaven or the winchesters (and we all know cas will always be with them) hes with dean to the end of the line then his ptsd that clearly got brushed aside, the writers don't know what to do with cas. they've pretty much turned him human and i can only imagine his decision would be to stay on earth but im not sure where he gets expelled to, heaven? a place that doesn't respect or want him.. anyways, yeah i think this finale ended off on a positive note which was good but they didn't build up amara that well, the way they sexualized her and dean, and in the end it wasn't even about that.. that was weird. with dean and sam not arguing about dying, i think thats showing their codependency of saving the other has stopped or at least getting better. and earlier the season sam mentioned that cas' choice letting lucifer possess him had to be respected, so i think sam was just trying to do the same with dean. and i agree with your ranking on the seasons but swan song and sacrifice, are like 9 and 10's to me, i really loved them. anyways these were the best parts: beautiful shot
May 27, 2016 A lot of angels still respect him though. This was seen when Lucifer used Cas to convince them in 11x22. And I didn't say no Cas around, but just don't give him (and Crowley) boring storylines. I found his individual stories always dumb. His trip witu Hannah, his human story, I didn't like it. I do like his character when he's with the brothers. Yes the amara story was done terrible throughout the season. They ended it well, but it makes everything else that happened kind of pointless. But spn is about family, and this ending represented that @missy
May 27, 2016 what angels? he even had to plead with them. every angel this season has disowned him as a "brother" called him horrible things etc. they don't consider him family and as much cas wants to be apart of heaven, he doesn't feel like he belongs there either. and thats why that car scene with dean was important (although i dont agree with him saying cas made the right call) cause the whole season was him wondering why cas would do such a thing, but now i figure he said that cause he can see cas was beating himself up for it you're the best friend we ever had. you're always there.. and yeah i know its about family and cas can finally feel like he's apart of it. now them bringing back mary can only revolve it /more/ around family and such, its going to be interesting how mary plays a role in this story since we only really seen her from flashbacks i love this show, cant wait for next season and to see the guys again next yr jensen gives the best hugs
Apr 17, 2017 Honestly imo 12 is the worst season so far. MOL are really annoying imo. I dont like them and I dont see what they are supposed to add. Mary's character is totally ruined. In flashbacks and memories we saw this loving mother, and now she is turned into a cold hearted b*tch. Lucifer story (and his kid) also make no sense at all. I just finished watching season 5 (watching the whole show again) and d--- how good it was and how cool Lucifer was. He is ruined after they set him free. Now he is a prisoner w Crowley, which is kinda fun, but he will break free and its gonna be the same stuff all over again. Suddenly having 2 Azazels extra is just to please the fans (yellow eyes returning). I did like that episode though. As for Cas... I hate to see him like this. I mean I get it, a full powered Castiel at this point would make no sense since he could drop in anytime to save them (like he did in s4/5 and also in 8). But this weak, even weaker than humans Cas is so annoying. He gets beat up every single time and gets talked down by that arrogant british piece of s---, f--- off writers. I really hope he gets to k--- Dagon. All in one, this season lacks a decent storyline. And that is the first time since s5. True, some storylines were lame (Leviathans for example) but at least there was one and it all led to things. This has no directions. Biggest problem is, after S11 had god.. how the h--- could they make anything interesting after such a season? @Devil White not to derail the other thread I say it here. Also do you really feel Conjuring 2 being the best horror movie of all time?

May 20, 2017 Spoiler I don't mind that much that cas is dead but he deserved a waaaay better ending. He deserved a 'win'. Crowleys died at his own terms and I'm kinda satisfied with that. Not a huge fan of the 2nd world tho. The finale the boys didnt add anything and they were so off character. It was all about the others for once. I'm 100% sure Cas will be saved by the kid or that cas isnt really gone somehow. Crowley and Mary are the real heroes. Also smh @ rowena just being gone like that
