    Pinata
    RTJ2

    h--- can wait

Technically I think pinata is best but people seem to be underrating My Krazy Life (and overrating cilvia demo).

Also the wu tang album kinda sucks.

What's your opinion of Cilvia Demo? If anything I think people are overrating Cole's album more.

It's a fine album but it has the same problem every other Cole album has: I listen to it a few times and get bored of it. It's not there's anything particularly bad about it...Cole just fails to captivate me, which is a shame because I will say I dig the production on FHD more than any other Cole album.

Shoutout to My Crazy Life and 36 Seasons, I think I might have liked these 2014 projects better than last years bar Pusha and Drake.

Yeah lmao cept it's u and jet claiming that vs the entire hip hop community rightfully praising it. I'm sure you guys are right tho!

Not to mention the arguments to be made for the quality of RTJ2 are 5 billion times stronger than any bs you want to conjour up for FHD being anything more than good/great

Having these two in the same discussion is f---ing laughable

You can try and make this about Cole vs RTJ but thats honestly going left with it. All I said was RTJ2 was overrated, which it is :manny: Never said it's a bad album, in fact, I placed it in my top 5.

Love Again is a terrible song though, but that's for another thread. Terrible production too, get your ears cleaned b.

I'd agree with that, but I just expect people to overrate J. Cole because it happens very time he drops an album. Lol

I think the positive reception to cilvia demo has been mostly based on what people want Rashad to become, as opposed to the actual quality of the album. I thought it was roughly the same level as oxymoron (middlingly decent but ultimately underwhelming and boring).

RTJ2 is the best B+ rap album of the year. Just like the first one was.

It's ridiculous how the entire critical community creamed their jeans over it tho. Its a couple of guys rapping very well over some dope beats... And thats about bit. Not that it needs to be more than that (it doesn't, the album is strongest when its NOT trying to be political), but critics talk about it like its the best thing since illmatic, and it's nowhere near that serious.

    el-p >>>> btw
