    CARNIFEX Get The Strap

    Aug 2, 2021
Lived in Palm Springs almost my whole life place is nothing but rich entitled closed minded racist older white people and trend hoping hipsters. Recently left to another city 45 minutes away in Joshua tree/yucca that's not so f---ing hot but up here seems to be more open minded due to the insane amount of hipsters coming down here buying every house fixing it up and turning it into an airbnb. The plan is to move to big bear or up in lake Hemet when we retire and live in a small one bedroom log cabin on some nice land. I'd love to live in Alaska away from everyone too that would be sick. @reservoirGod you live/lived in Alaska didn't you? Would you recommend it as a place to get away and retire or somewhere that's more Forrest/nature?

This thing works best... because without it my glasses or goggles fog up/ice over instantly.

I work 12 to 14 hours outside when I'm up there... I'm a field slur up there.

I wear layers of thermal underwear and thick a--- sweats under my specialy designed FRCs that ate rated for -100... and 10 pound boots... layers of gloves... I keep a box of handwarmers... sometimes I put duct tape on my face... my work truck gets up to 50 degrees with the heater on full blast... try to get in there as much as I can... which if I'm busy... it's not that much.

I never watched the show... but I know you have to see things up there in real life to appreciate them...like the aerial phenomenons...the northern lights, sundogs, sun pillars. The Arctic Ocean freezes over and becomes a huge mirror... I've seen three red suns in the sky and you couldn't tell which was the real one.

I've been making 6 figures a year since I turned 18... used to spend more time in the Arctic... recent years I just go up for 2 months and make $35k o $45k and then work the rest of the year in other parts of Alaska.
