I haven't forgotten man, I'll probably listen to it tomorrow or on Saturday.
Lol no need to worry about it, man. Some people might still enjoy it and/or see potential for his LP.

Shouldn't have, but I read part of the thread, and instantly expected to dislike this before I even heard it.

But honestly, I can dig this pretty well.:kanye3:

It's nice and mellow, and it pulled me in pretty easily at the start. Quite enjoyed the overall feel of the EP. From his voice, flow, and delivery, he had my attention almost the entire way through. Production brought it all together, and quite a few moments got me like :lebron: (3:15-3:20 for example). Best part is it's short, so more replay value for me, woo. Iunno nothin' bout the whole Odd Future comparison or soundcloud rapper thing, since his production values are>>>> and Idc if he sounds like Odd Future or w.e. Agree with @Narsh tho about that 'Illuminati is the enemy' thing, that stood out to me in a bad way :sad3:

Other than that, good outweighs the bad for me by a lot.

You don't seem to be listing a lot of "good" except for "it sounds good" tho

I agree with people saying it reminds them of Odd Future. I got that vibe right away. The more and more I listen to this it keeps getting boring. If he would switch up his voice/production and make it more exciting maybe it'd be more appealing to me.

I mean, that's generally the entire reason I listen to music so... I have a hard time articulating much past that most of the time.

this is reminiscent of odd future inasmuch as odd future is two degrees left of stones throw

But like it sounds like you're describing a project with good production and an entirely dismissible MC.

How is that the good outweighing the bad? How many times is just this production gonna having you coming back?

I said I liked his voice. He has an interesting one, it can grab my attention, and it did almost the entire time. His flow was pleasant to listen to, and never detracted from my experience. His delivery is just as good imo. Only negative thing I said is the whole Illuminati thing sort of got me in the wrong way.
As many times as it does I guess? I don't honestly have an answer. I just know this was a pleasant listen. And it's not just the production as I said above.

Late review, but here we go.

Just like last weeks choice I was unexpected with what I'd find. Stumbling onto new artists and their music always has you thinking "Will I enjoy this?" "Will this be a waste of my time?" and just like last weeks, yes, I did enjoy it. No, I didn't waste my time. It's a nice chill EP and for only 16mins feels a little short, but at the same time just right, but unlike last weeks artists and choice of EP neither Rejjie Snow nor this EP is one I'd revisit regularly. Not to say Rejjie or this EP aren't good, because they are. The production is top notch and probably the highlight of the EP, but if I'm being honest Rejjie didn't leave a lasting impression and got me intrigued enough for a replay or check out the rest of his catalogue.

Would I revisit this down the line? Sure. Maybe then my opinion will change. But for now Rejjie Snow and this EP will be placed in the 'play once and never again' category.

I got through half of it and stopped. Im not really a fan of the Odd Future style rap that emerged over the last couple years, Im not sure what you would call it. The beats werent too bad and the flow seemed okay but it just couldnt get into it for probably a few reasons

This would be a good asmr session if the drum on Snow wasn't this loud.

I really like the instrumentals and his delivery / voice sound good to me, but the writing is chaotic at times and his train of thought is weird, like he's trying too hard to sound cryptic but some lyrics are very questionable. Nothing great, but the production and his delivery can carry an EP this short and make this a quick, relaxing hearing.
