Dec 24, 2014 Just pullin ur leg I actually haven't even finished listening to the album yet lol cole always bored me prematurely idk why I will finish it at some point tho the first half of the album was pretty good so far And I like TSS more than most (7/10) and born sinner is probably around the same even tho Id rather listen to TSS I'm sure FHD is better than both
Dec 24, 2014 1. Run the Jewels 2 2. Cilvia Demo 3. Cadillactica 4. My Krazy Life 5. Oxymoron 6. 2014 Forest Hills Drive
Dec 24, 2014 TSS was terribly written but the production and hook game was on point. Born Sinner was better from a writing perspective, but the entire album sounded forced to me and I never played it after the first week. 2014 Forest Hills Drive is the album that we thought he would follow Friday Night Lights with. It's no where near perfect but its crafted extremely well. I can see how J. Cole bores people, and if you don't get around to giving it a full spin, just listen to 03 Adolescence (second verse especially), A Tale of 2 Citiez (the juxtaposition between the first and second half is dope, especially given the fact that this song follows right after the second verse of 03 Adolescence) and No Role Modelz.
Dec 24, 2014 This site isn't ready to embrace a Pretty Flacko section yet The Kendrick and Drake sections were added for growth purposes (that's the way hiphop is going, these two are the leaders), the Eminem section was added to clean up the music section and cater to all of the stans who came from SL and the Cole section was added cause I closed down J. Cole Nation forums and brought everyone over here (it also happens to be our most active section right now).
Dec 24, 2014 Also a rich g--- section is so necessary after this year I will single handedly keep traffic going for that section lol
Dec 24, 2014 i still think yall are insane for thinking MKC by YG is number one... it was a good album tho
Dec 24, 2014 ASAP Rocky......is not at that level and he has some great tracks (mostly because of production) but come on b
Dec 24, 2014 Listening to the YG album right now... if I would of known Q & Rock were on this I would of had it a loooong time ago.
Dec 24, 2014 1. 2014 FHD 2. Cadillactica 3. Under Pressure 4. Cilvia Demo 5. Oxymoron 6. h--- Can Wait
Dec 24, 2014 My Krazy Life I was pretty disappointed with other projects. However cole is a contender for album of the year smh
Dec 24, 2014 Even though it's a mixtape, Life After Deathrow is one of my favorite hip hop projects this year and probably would be in my top 5. Not sure if anyone has mentioned it.
Dec 25, 2014 Didn't find this thread till the nominations were already over lol would of nominated as well if I had. It's probably my 4th favorite hip hop project this year behind the big 3 (Piñata, RTJ2 & Dark Comedy)
