    I'll give him that he may have used the term "trap" first in his music but i disagree that he completely created it

    He was one of the founding fathers I can say that. You still got UGK, Three 6, Dungeon Family, Outkast, many more. You could completely argue he launched it to what it is today

    TI coined the phrase and solidified it as it's own sound. UGK and all that were influences but weren't trap themselves, and Gucci and Jeezy took the subgenre in new and exciting directions, but TI gets the credit for actually making it a thing imo.
