May 31, 2017 lol.. CanIBitch was literally Em making fun of him and not taking his time to put that guy in his place - He didn't even try
May 31, 2017 lol says you, he still got roasted on the ballad either way which is the point of the thread
May 31, 2017 No I'm just honest about Jay's averageness of content and performance, in comparison to Em. You're delusional if you seriously hear as good of rhymes, writing or delivery in any Jay-Z content. Not that you can't like the content more, or like his music more, but to say he has more range, more emotional depth, more attention to detail, better rhyming, smarter ideas etc. is just... Clearly very untrue. You're comparing Louis CK to Jay Leno. And Jay would and even has admitted that. He's not interested in maxing his talents - maximising his potential for rhyming or the tightest flows imaginable, or the brightest ideas. He just does - just enough - to stay in his lane, coast on his legacy, brag, and just be a cool - breezy rapper. He's not a genius. Nothing Jay has made is like 'WOW WTF IS THAT', because he never tries that hard and hasn't honed as many skillsets. He's a breezy, skatey rapper & artist. Most average grime artists rhyme better than Jay-Z. He's probably the most overrated rapper ever by a long-shot.
May 31, 2017 Im a Eminem fan but this is embarrassing. I feel weird saying Im a fan after that People like you (And Paul) are the reason his music sucks now
May 31, 2017 2001 Eminem would possibly murk anyone lyrically. I'd put my life on that one personally. Wish he released a solo that year, tbh.
May 31, 2017 these Eminem stans in here are something else, they really think he's the best rapper alive

May 31, 2017 even in Eminem's prime he still wasn't the best. 2Pac in his prime was far more better. Nas as well. the list could keep going.
May 31, 2017 2Pac's rhyming ability was very limited when it came to rhyming words that weren't enemy and Hennessy. Other than good delivery, Pac had very little going for him. Good quotables, but nothing GOAT worthy. Nas in his prime still had filler lines in even his most acclaimed song while Eminem's prime had vivid storytelling. Eminem is weak nowadays but that doesn't mean he wasn't the best in his prime.
May 31, 2017 As for the thread, it depends on what you consider "roasting". Technically anyone can say something offensive towards Eminem given they know the right words. Nobody's perfect. You can always point out some s--- about somebody. But it usually has no effect whatsoever when you're going against somebody who's actually huge... like prime Em. He's too popular, most people don't give a f--- so the "roasting" has no effect and is arguably not even "roasting". So as for that type of "roasting", nobody could really do it. As for pure skill Jay Z could easily have the wit to do so. Wouldn't say Nas as the dude doesn't seem to know the difference between a diss track and a boast track. 2Pac would make weak, empty threats like he did on Hit 'Em Up. Biggie wasn't able to diss Pac until he died and he just wasn't that type of guy. Those are the main names but there are obviously other rappers who could make good bars against prime Em. Nobody would go up against prime Em and leave intact though.
