    Campaign Speech was good for what it was

    I honestly don't think any album was scrapped, he's just perfecting it. I'm happy to wait as long as we hear something this year

    Yes, @JMG confirmed this, said he scrapped the old album and is 80% done with the new one.

    If he had an album like Campaign Speech thank the f---ing lord he scrapped it. I doubt he had an album like that freestyle though.

    I love Relapse bro. I loved it when it dropped, and I love it now.

    I'm saying - that wasn't the reaction, initially, from core fans. Initially, the reaction, from many - and more than a minority - was that it was wack. That's why he did such a 180 flip, followed trends and apologised / Recovery.

    I'm not saying that is what Relapse, Campaign Speech & No Favours are. I'm saying that was the mixed reaction, and Em has his ear to that, and gets worried now and changes his s--- if he doesn't get the right response.

    You could even see it with 'Richard' feature prior to MMLP2. He hinted at it by referring to himself as Ike again and a more MMLP-ish flow and content. And when that got a positive response - Paul thanked fans for the reception to the verse, on Twitter. Then he did MMLP2 in that lane.

    So the reactions to Campaign Speech and No Favours could very well be holding things up, as he could have changed s---.

    Yes it was somewhat scratched... it wasn't a finished product. He is using his own beats again and is taking his time. The unfinished album I got had a lot of good tracks but something was off and he is self aware. Hes experimenting more than ever. He is trying to make sure his voice is perfect too. From what I heard and know hes working on making sure every word and lyric has perfect delivery. Bass brothers are involved in this. Be patient.
