What a difference a month can make. Back in April, we were ecstatic over Rich Homie Quan's future after the release of Back to the Basics, but with a recent arrest in Georgia, Quan's future is looking darker than it was a month prior.
For those who are unaware, Rich Homie Quan was arrested Saturday night while on the way to a gig at Club Liquids in Wadley, Georgia. Quan was reportedly in a vehicle with five other individuals when the police pulled the vehicle over with what's said to be ecstasy and marijuana in their possession. Quan was also said to have been in possession of a stolen gun at the time.
According to a new report from TMZ, while the gun charge is not being pinned on Quan, he is still being charged with felony possession of drugs with intent to distribute for marijuana. TMZ says there's no word on how much weed was in the car, but in Georgia the amount wouldn't even matter in determining a felony charge.
That charge carries up to 30 years in prison if Quan is convicted.
Rich Homie Quan is being held until a bond hearing, which is scheduled for Friday.

the reason they say up to 30 years, as it's the maximum sentencing set by precedent on the said charges. he'll probs end up with a year or two, or maybe even a fine. The 30 years is just there as more of a scare tactic. Judge's take into consideration a huge array of factors before sentencing, such as whether or not they are repeat offenders/have already established some form of criminal history.
TMZ are also r-----ed, there is no way police pulled them over, found illegal ecstasy and an illegal firearm and said "ok just charge him for the weed"
