As most of you know I was privileged to attend the premiere of the Dr. Dre's new documentary in LA, The Defiant Ones coming to HBO on July 9th. If you're service provider does not provide HBO you can't pay 7.99 for service on mobile or gaming devices. Anyway I had I blast. I was honored to have V.I.P access to most of the events. I was close by when they took the picture of Eminem Dre and Jim which caused a lot of waves debuting "The Beard". People thought it was a big deal on the internet but it was much more a buzz at the carpet. At one point someone from I think TMZ asked Eminem "Why the beard" He didn't say anything and he quickly walked off with his entourage inside the west entrance of the theater. I had some time to k--- so I went and some drinks and caught up with Alchemist who is an old friend. Obviously I asked about the album and he just said def this year.. I didn't wanna press too much. I had to ask about the beard and he told me Eminem is here in LA shooting a movie and news is about to break on that soon.

Anyway, regarding the Doc (no pun) it was pretty great. Everyone loved it. It was split up into 2 viewings with 2 hours in between. (This is the time they did the photoshoot with Kendrick and 2 Chainz). Eminem has about a 20 minute spot dedicated to him and people will not wanna miss it. I signed a waiver of course so I can't talk about much.

However after the premiere is when I decided I would track down Em somehow because obviously it would be great to meet him. I was able to find out where he was down the street recording a collab with 2 Chainz. When I got in finally it was awesome. I got close enough to the room they were in to hear some of the music. Sounds like they were doing a lot of takes. I was able to make out "its slim shade and 2 chainz bout to make your a--- lose it.. but they got me in 4 chains shackled to a bed frame, i guess thats why they call it trap music but watch me adapt to it.. then there was a pause and he just spazzed out like medicine man. I couldn't make much of that out cause I was distracted by seeing Snoop and his crew passing by. Was pretty cool. I saw a lot of celebs but never got to meet Em. I wish I could of stayed longer to get more exclusives cause Em is still there and something big is about to happen. What are you guys thoughts on Em possibly starring in another movie? I think hes gonna drop one more album and start acting more.
