No surprise...labels give you a chance at the start...but if you don't blow up, typically you are shelved, unless they see a reason to continue to investment time/money into you...

if you do blow up then you turn out to be like Eminem, 50 Cent, etc...and they definitely keep promoting you until the return on the investment is not worth it aka 50 Cent...after 2nd album Interscope didn't put the investment/time into him...which in result made 50 mad...even though he was the mixtape king and promoting himself like crazy...

I like Yelawolf but he never had a chance at Shady/Interscope...get in line like Obie Trice (great first album - then label slowly didn't promote him as much on 2nd album), Stat Quo, Cashis, Bobby Creek...

The new guys Shady signed from Buffalo will have a lot of promotion/help from Eminem and Interscope for debut album...if they feel good enough about them

Problem with this is 50 cent wasnt coming out with the poppy s--- that he made for GRODT and TM when it came to The music for Curtis. That's why interscope wasn't promoting it properly. "Amusement Park" and "Straight to the bank" we're not hits like "In Da Club" or "Candy Shop". It wasn't until he went back in the lab and did records like "I get money" and "Ayo Technology" was when interscope felt he was worth promoting again (even though those records weren't that great as well)

They felt rushed and forced to me, especially Ayo technology. They were deemed good enough for 50 to get promotion from interscope though.
